1.  EQUAL COMPARISONS

Equal comparisons Menunjukkan persamaan (equality) dua benda/subjek.

Example for equal comparisons:

1.  Your story is as boring as her story.

2.  My car runs as fast as yours.

3.  She cooks as well as her mother.

4.  She is as smart as her sister.

5.   I am not as tall as my brother.

2. UNEQUAL COMPARISONS

Jenis comparisons ini menunjukkan dua hal/benda/subjek yang dibandingkan memiliki perbedaan tingkat perbandingan diantaranya, salah satu lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah.

Example for unequal comparisons:

1.  Your grade is higher than mine

2.  Today is hotter than yesterday

3.  This sofa is more comfortable than the other one

4.  He speaks English more fluently than I

5.  Nowadays, being a good person is less important than being a rich

    man

3. Double Comparative

     Suatu frasa yang menyatakan perubahan berupa peningkatan atau  

     Penurunan

2.  The bigger the house is, the more expensive the price is

3.  The more you study, the more cleverer you will become

4. SUPERLATIVES

    Jenis kalimat bertingkat yang digunakan untuk menyatakan sebuah    

    posisi yang tingkatnya paling “wah” diantara keseluruhan.

1.  Nadina gets the highest score in Mathematic

2.  Miftahul huda thinks that Monday is the busiest day in a week Fairuz is the fastest runner in this contest

3.  Our team has the lowest score
